Should startups focus on SEO or PPC during initial phase?

Every day countless websites are launched on the internet, and each of those sites indicates that a new startup has joined the game of business.  But the competition is tough and all entrepreneurs realize that the only ladder to reach the top search engine rankings is SEO.
But we know that search engine optimization is a slow process and it remains uncertain how long before it could produce results. That is why startups are often faced with the dilemma whether to focus more on PPC or SEO when they are in the initial phase of business.
The answer to that question is pay per click services. Yes we know that eventually it’s the optimization that will take the limelight and would demand maximum efforts, but during the initial phase, it’s the PPC that will drive instant traffic to the site. After making its presence felt the business can then shift more focus on using optimization technique.
Most of the startups remain in the testing phase for quite some time, and tests need to be quick. SEO is anything but quick, because it is a very slow procedure. Before bringing a new concept to the market, it needs to be tested first for its efficiency and ability to generate revue.
If a startup is testing a concept it can’t afford to wait for the SEO campaign to kick in and begin delivering organic traffic. But with an intelligent devised PPC campaign, it can experiment with the online business idea and turn it off and on whenever required and make the necessary changes, which is not possible with SEO. Startups can do that by hiring companies that offer PPC campaign management programsin Manhattan.
Since launching an unhealthy idea to the market can result in losses, entrepreneurs need to make sure the idea is capable of blooming into a full-fledged business. For that they need to conduct initial market testing by driving instant traffic to the website under consideration. This is where PPC would play its role.
Once the test results have arrived and point at a favorable future scenario, startups can go ahead and pool their money for more intensive marketing and search engine optimization. But before that, more focus should remain on investing on pay per click services.
The bottom line is that if you are thinking of launching a startup, the priority should be given to the pay per click marketing during the initial phase of testing. After that continue to work on SEO and PPC simultaneously as long as the business will continue.

What is the difference between SEO and PPC?

In online world, SEO and PPC are the two most popular and effective techniques of online marketing. They may do the same thing, but they are different in many ways. If you want to select one of these options to gain traffic for your website, then first you need to know what these are. Then you can find PPC or SEOCompany in Manhattan or other cities.
SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is a technique that aims to optimize a website according to search engine guidelines for the sake of getting maximum organic traffic. It boosts your ranking in the results page. Whenever people search a certain keyword in search engines like Google, the get results, for which proper optimization has been done. Most users only look on the first page of results, so it becomes necessary for you to improve your ranking.
PPC (Pay Per Click) is the process to get paid traffic. The best feature of this mode of promotion is that you can get traffic as soon as you set up a campaign. Another great thing about it is that you will be charged only when someone will click on your advertisement.
There are many differences between these two marketing options such as:
·         SEO is an organic option in which the traffic we get for your website is free. In Pay Per Click, no traffic that is generated through this option is free. With every click, we get charged.
·         Another difference between them is the place where they are displayed. PPC advertisements are usually displayed on the top of result page. Sometimes you can also see them on the sidebar. They look different from the other results that are shown in page. In SEO, keyword related websites are displayed in the middle of page and they all look same. The ranking depends on the optimization of your website.
·         They are also different in their potential of bringing traffic. SEO can bring traffic for a long time. Once you get your site properly optimized and do the off-page activities properly, it will provide you good and continuous traffic. With PPC, you may get more results but it also increases the cost. When you stop the advertisement, these clicks will also stop.
·         In Pay Per Click, you get the outcome instantly and you just have to pay for them without working. For getting good ranking in result pages, there is a lot of work that must be done in sites. It also takes some time to get desired effect.
·         In PPC, we do not have to change our website much. However, in the other option, to get higher ranking lots of changes need to be done in website.
